Accelerate Seed Germination Using Hydrogen Peroxide

I’ll show you how I do mine today
so today I’ve decided that I want to
germinate these little sensitive seed
plants they’re really cute you touch
them in the leaves like retract into
each other it’s gorgeous hydrogen
peroxide what it’s going to help us with
is breaking down that outer layer of the
seed or the coat of the seed by doing
that it’s going to help increase the
oxygen intake that the seed is going to
be having whilst it is in its
germination process so why don’t we get
onto that
I’ve put my seeds in a little bowl and
we are now going to cover them with an
eight to one ratio of water to hydrogen
peroxide
once I’m done I’m going to put this in
the pantry we don’t want to put it in a
bright and direct sunlight kind of
situation but I also have cats so I
knitted away and we’ll be back in 24
hours to check on it so it’s been 24
hours and our seeds have been soaking in
our hydrogen peroxide and water solution
what I just did was I rinsed them out
thoroughly just with some regular water
and I’ve popped them out and a tray and
what you do from here is you need to
plant your seeds and begin the
germination process so I’ve got my soil
ready I’m going to go and plant them get
them all set to make a little greenhouse
and we’ll see how they go fingers
